Þ NEW EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY AT KEIGHLEY VOLUNTARY SERVICES Þ

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, Health & Well Being (Airedale & Wharfedale)

Based in Keighley, covering Airedale & Wharfedale tPCT area in the Bradford District

NJC scale point 32 - 34  £26,706– £28,270 + up to 6% pension  35 hpw

Funded by the tPCT for 3 years: helping to strengthen the growing relationship between the Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS), the tPCT, GP Alliance and other partners in the development and provision of community-based health and wellbeing services for all.

Responsibilities include:

• working with the tPCT Community Development and GP Alliance teams to develop relationships, commissioning priorities and processes with the VCS, including practice based commissioning
• liaising with district wide VCS and strategic partners and networks
• identifying and addressing capacity building needs in the VCS
• managing a small team of staff

Relevant skills, knowledge and experience are essential
