BMDC - Bradford Metropolitan District Council Homepage. Has links to district-wide street maps and all the council services.

ICAS - Independent Complaints Advocacy Service - a free and confidential service that is independent of the NHS and tailored to individual client need. Patients who want and are able to raise their concerns are empowered to do so. Patients with more complex needs have access to specialist advocates who can support them through the official complaints process.

NAVCA - (the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) is the growing network of 350 CVS and other local voluntary and community infrastructure organisations throughout England. They help to promote voluntary and community action by supporting member CVSs and by acting as a national voice for the local voluntary and community sector. They also have a useful collection of policies and procedures which can be downloaded from their website.
NCVO - The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is the umbrella body for the voluntary sector in England. They work to support the voluntary sector and to create an environment in which voluntary organisations can flourish.
National Centre for Involvement The NHS Centre for Involvement (NCI) supports and encourages the NHS and other organisations to involve patients and the public in health and social care decision-making.
Pay and Employment Rights Service The Pay and Employment Rights Service (PERS) is a company and charity established to promote good practice in employment. Starting in 1986 as the Yorkshire Low Pay Unit we now support and train employers across Yorkshire in meeting their legal and ethical responsibilities, advise employees who have questions or problems about their employment, and work to improve employment policies and procedures through research, campaigning, and lobbying.
