BCVS - Bradford CVS for voluntary and community groups in the Bradford area.

Big Lottery Fund - Big Lottery Fund was created by merging the New Opportunities Fund and the Community Fund. It will hand out half the money for good causes from the National Lottery

BMDC - Bradford Metropolitan District Council Homepage. Has links to district-wide street maps and all the council services.

Bradford LINk - The Bradford LINk gives everyone living or working in the district a stronger voice in how their health and social care services are delivered.

DIVA - The DIVA project is about bringing information on voluntary and community groups together in a single database - from sports and leisure clubs, through support and self-help groups, community centres and campaign groups to local non-profit bodies, advice centres and branches of national charities.

ICAS - Independent Complaints Advocacy Service - a free and confidential service that is independent of the NHS and tailored to individual client need. Patients who want and are able to raise their concerns are empowered to do so. Patients with more complex needs have access to specialist advocates who can support them through the official complaints process. 

IVS - Ilkley Voluntary Services

IDeA Knowledge - IDeA Knowledge delivers in-depth improvement news and examples of good practice from councils across England and Wales, and provides access to the IDeA’s range of tools and services.

Keighley Volunteer Centre - Offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities and support. Also provides services to older and vulnerable people.

NAVCA - (the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action) is the growing network of 350 CVS and other local voluntary and community infrastructure organisations throughout England. They help to promote voluntary and community action by supporting member CVSs and by acting as a national voice for the local voluntary and community sector. They also have a useful collection of policies and procedures which can be downloaded from their website.

NCVO - The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is the umbrella body for the voluntary sector in England. They work to support the voluntary sector and to create an environment in which voluntary organisations can flourish.

National Centre for Involvement The NHS Centre for Involvement (NCI) supports and encourages the NHS and other organisations to involve patients and the public in health and social care decision-making.

Pay and Employment Rights Service The Pay and Employment Rights Service (PERS) is a company and charity established to promote good practice in employment. Starting in 1986 as the Yorkshire Low Pay Unit we now support and train employers across Yorkshire in meeting their legal and ethical responsibilities, advise employees who have questions or problems about their employment, and work to improve employment policies and procedures through research, campaigning, and lobbying.

Yorks and Humber Regional Forum - The links page of the Regional Forum for Yorkshire and the Humber, which is the strategic organisation for the voluntary and community sector. Lots of useful links to voluntary, community and development organisations etc.

West Yorkshire Learning Consortium - A not-for-profit organisation supporting the voluntary and community sector, and other learning agencies, deliver high quality learning opportunities. Their vision is to support and promote the social, economic and educational prosperity across West Yorkshire through learning and skills.
